Online course: new technologies applied to mining restoration (2nd edition)

After the successful participation in the 1st edition of the course New technologies applied to the restoration of mining exploitations held in July and October 2019, the LIFE TECMINE project offers the 2nd edition of this course free of charge. On this occasion, the course is mainly addressed to technical personnel of the Public Administration.

The aim of the course is to introduce and train the attendees in the new technologies applied to the restoration of mining exploitations that are being developed in the field of geomorphology, hydrology, edaphology and establishment of vegetation.

The course is approved by the Institut Valencià D'Administració Pública (IVAP) and will be held in the distance learning mode within the tele-teaching platform of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 24 to 26 November. On November 27 will be held the visit to the Fortuna Mine in Ademuz (Valencia) within the LIFE-TECMINE Project, attendance at which is mandatory for the course.

In just one day the places have been covered and the number of registrations has doubled, which shows the interest and need for training in these new restoration techniques among the public administration staff.

Due to the good response and great demand, probably the same course will be organized in the coming months. All the information will be available on the web and social networks of the LIFE TECMINE project.
