LIFE TECMINE project awarded at the LIFE 2023 Awards

Each year, the LIFE Awards recognize excellence in LIFE projects in three categories: nature protection, environment and climate action.

On 6 June, the European Commission revealed the winners of this year's LIFE Awards 2023. The award ceremony took place at 17:45 in the Charlemagne Building in Brussels, as part of the EU Green Week 2023, Europe's most important environmental event.

The LIFE TECMINE project was one of the 9 finalist projects this year, being nominated in the environment category.

Among the selected projects, the public voted for their favorite project. LIFE TECMINE received a total of 3.091 votes, being the project most valued by citizens and winning the Citizen's Prize for the Best LIFE 23 Project.
