Presentation of the Technical Guides for the restoration of mines and quarries
The Conference will be held on October 5, 2022 in Valencia
The two Technical Guides developed within the framework of the LIFE TECMINE Project on the restoration of mines in forest lands will be presented. These are two publications that aim to:
- Serve as an aid to the Public Administrations and the mining sector when selecting the best restoration techniques in the process of planning and drafting the project.
- Facilitate the control and monitoring of restoration projects for Public Administrations and companies.
The Technical Guides include recommendations, examples of good practices, indicators, measurement methods and an extensive bibliography.
The presentation can be followed via streaming.
Poster with the program of the day
During the day you can also visit the Photographic Exhibition "New Landscape of the Fortuna Mine" that will be on display until October 31, 2022 at the facilities of the Ciutat Administrativa 9 d'Octubre in Valencia.
Through images, the viewer can see the evolution of the ecological restoration carried out in the Fortuna Mine in Ademuz (Valencia). The Exhibition allows a visual journey from the beginning of the works to the end of the restoration project.
